Fran Miller is an organizer, activist, and lawyer. She is senior staff attorney and adjunct faculty member at the Center for Agriculture and Food Systems (CAFS) at Vermont Law and Graduate School (VLGS), where she supervises students in the Food and Agriculture Clinic and leads a variety of projects. She also works on projects with partner organizations, regarding collaborative and community land ownership and business formation.

Fran has worked with Agrarian Trust as a project partner since 2019, pushing the boundaries of the law with AT staff and other supporters. She currently sits on the national board of the Agrarian Trust as well as the Vermont Agrarian Commons board.
